About Western
Experience you can speak to directly.
Western Interior Systems is owner-operated. Richard personally oversees the work, supported by established teams and trusted trades when the project requires them.

Richard's approach
Good work starts before the tools come out.
With more than 30 years of broad trade and construction experience, I understand how the plastering fits into the bigger project—not just what the finished wall should look like.
My approach is to establish the scope, discuss the finish and communicate clearly before work begins. I personally oversee delivery, with teams and trusted trades providing the capacity needed for commercial, insurance and larger work.
My aim is to get it right the first time, with no callbacks. That means sound preparation, careful workmanship and clear expectations—not promises that ignore the practical realities of plastering.

Understanding plastering finishes and light
Minor surface texture may be visible under strong raking or side light and can be normal for the finish level selected. Richard explains this upfront so the intended finish, viewing conditions and expectations are understood before work begins. Normal characteristics of the agreed finish level are not treated as workmanship defects.
